she gave you everything she had but she was young and dumb she just turned twenty-one she didn't care to hang around...
Hayley slipped into the club past the doormen. It was an easy task for the little five foot one girl to get into this club especially. Ever since she had played a couple of live nights they seemed to be much more friendly with her drinking there. She wasn't a massive drinker and she never usually went solo but tonight she just had to get out. There was a party in the dorm above her and it was just r&b and dance music. Sure, this place played dance and whatnot but there was always the hope of some good music or even good dance. They seemed to like Prodigy on Friday nights and Hayley was pretty darn happy with that.
Her dress this evening consisted of her pale form being clad in a black denim material skirt and a black vest top that had riot scrawled across it. Sure it wasn't the most glamorous outfit she had but Hayley wasn't about to make a whole bunch of effort just to sit at a bar for a few hours to escape the noise of her dorm. Still she didn't exactly not fit in, her clothes appeared dressed up enough to be out. Truth be told she had been wearing them all day.
The girl's make-up consisted of relatively dark eye liner with some orange added on top just to give it a bright shot, the orange trailed out after her eyes and flicked up at the corner of her eyes. Very little other make up was worn as ever when she head dark eye make up she never really bothered with anything else. Her pale complexion was always damn near perfect, her rather un-curvy and boy-ish figure made up for that though. Everything about her was petite but luckily from her she had a few curves in the right places. Slipping onto a barstool she ordered a vodka and red bull, alcoholic and it should get her caffeine lever high with the red bull tipped into it. The perfect mix, apart from not being able to taste the vodka. That was something to complain about. Strangely enough she enjoyed that taste of vodka, especially that warming sensation. With a sigh she tapped her foot to the beat. [/size]

The sleepless nights and the tears you cried It's never too late to make it right.
The shadowed form of the seventeen year old boy slipped past the bouncer as he turned around. A sigh came from his lips, his eyes forced t-words the ground. He hurried past the people, growling at anyone who even dared to get close to him. His eyes shut for a few minutes, then he opened them and looked up. Once he found his way to the bar, he sat down, noticing a girl a few stools down. He just ignored her, or any look she would try to give him. He turned away, ordering sprite and vodka. He reached into his pocket, taking out four white pills. He sighed, hiding them from the bar tender. He grabbed his drink, pushing the pills into his mouth and gulping them down.
Tonight he wore a pair of jeans, they were slightly tight but not too bad. He wore a black t-shirt that said "Avenged Sevenfold" across it then the death bat on the other side. Yes, his scars were exposed, and he didn't care. He never really cared about much anyways. He pulled out his wallet, paying and pushing it back into his back pocket. He rolled his eyes back into his head, moving down a few seats as a drunken foolish guy came to sit by him. He turned around to ignore him, but only found himself staring right at the girl. He blinked awkwardly, watching her for any sudden movement. His eyes were clouded over with glee, and he certainly wasn't going to let her notice his interest in her pretty face. He turned away quickly, staring straight forward. He took another long drink of his beverage.

Hayley, shockingley was already getting board of the solid thumping beat, the same repetitive beat in a song made her always get bored and annoyed. She liked varied songs that changed constantly, well that's all that she would dance to. Surprisingly yes Hayley also danced. She really sometimes didn't seem like your typical, social, grinding person but she would always need to be at least tipsy at the time. Helped silence her paranoia and stop her thinking everyone was watching her. Call her a freak but she didn't like people watching her. Speaking of that (see clever link) she caught a glance of the boy in the corner of her eye though didn't look over, she could easily see him pop some pills into his mouth. Wise move to be honest, it would probably make this place a whole lot better. But nope, Hayley was out of that habit, she also ate now...and tried to keep as much in control oh her bipolar.
Now she was a pleasant little christian girl...only without the christian bit. She quite that choir many years ago. Long story but yes she was once a part of her local Franklin, Tennessee church choice. Let's all point and laugh at her.
Once the bar tender had finished with the boy she caught his attention only this time she ordered several shots. If she was going to have any fun with this music she's need to be at least a little bit drunk. Downing one shot she then saw those same eyes glancing over at her. Only when he looked away she she glance back and raise a brow. Her first though was that she had a funny neon orange hair out of place that cause him to look but a quick check and all was fine. Downing the rest of the shots in a line she smiled warmly at the familiar feeling she got. Her blueish green eyes rolled when the track changed to one that sounded exactly the same. Her head dropped forward as she hit the bar and stayed motionless for a moment. Sitting upright once more she frowned. "Bloody crap music with it's crap...dumdumdum...ergh." Her ranting were for her own amusement.

He just sat there quietly, his eyes closed now. He hated this music, he only came here to get vodka. Jesus, it was so loud and obnoxious. He growled under his breath, shivering as he felt like people were staring at him. He felt out of place, as usual, so it was nothing new to him. He coughed a little, feeling the pills begging to kick in. His vision was getting slightly cloudy, and he was perfectly fine with that. He didn't dare smile though, he just looked up. His hair still covered his eyes, and this time he drank all of his drink. He ordered straight vodka next, taking a sip and rejoicing inside.
Chill bumps ran up his scarred arms as he took another sip. He glanced over to the girl once again. Possibly it was because of her orange hair, but whatever it was he was curious about it. He usually wasn't, but he didn't let it get the best of him. He looked away quickly, feeling awkward as he took another sip of his vodka. He wiped his hair from his face, reaching into his pocket. He was going to go smoke, but he had forgotten his lighter. He growled, shaking his head. If he wasn't so addicted he'd never of spoken to the girl, but he had to.
"Do you have a lighter?" He asked rudely enough, staring at her through his hair. He bit his lip, but let it go, looking away quickly. He looked back to her, wondering if she did. He really wanted one, and if she didn't have one he wouldn't be very happy.

Hayley sighed and calmed the frightful feelings that were stressing her out and making her want to go and rip the head off that damn DJ. She glanced back behind her and shot him a cold glare. It really wasn't spectacular and he didn't even see but it made the girl feel that little bit happier knowing she had some something to express her hatred for that 'fat fuck' sitting in the DJ booth spinning off crap that all just sounded the same. The same beat, same sound effect...same, just all the bloody SAME.
Tapping her fingers against the bar she practically gritted her teeth. She had to constantly remind herself that this was better than sitting in her dorm and listening to the thumping of music from upstairs and then whoever decided to get drunk enough and sleep with each other in the room above her. Many sleepless night she had suffered because of the couple upstairs. They were like rabbits.
Glancing across quickly at Jesse when she heard his voice directed at her she had to think for a moment. With a smile as always she leaned up and slipped out an old lighter from her pocket. Flicking it open a flame lit at the top and she quickly dropped it shut. "Yep." she said in a slightly more cheery tone. Her lighter was given to her by her brother and it was just a plain chrome one but she adored it. No she didn't smoke, at all actually. It's purpose...it burn things. Hayley liked fires, flames...that just seemed so wild and bright. Hence the muse for the shades that were apparent in her hair.
Holding it out to him she flashed a small smile not really sure how to act around this individual. "Here you go."

He just watched her still, every move she made. As the flame flickered infront of his face, he let a smirk come to his lips. He sighed, nodding and snatching it. It shoved it into his pocket, getting up. "I'm Jesse," He said as he watched her once more, then began to walk out the door. He kind of wished she might follow him, he didn't know why. He usually hated being around people, and that meant every person in the world was his enemy.
He walked out the back door, the coldness hitting him like a knife to bread(wtf?). Usually his apartment was silent, so he had no worries. He lit a cigarette, taking a drag and exhaling in relief. He shook his head, his hair falling into his face. As he lent against the wall, he took in the silence that arose around him. He liked it.

Hayley smiled in amusement at the joy that seemed to fill him at the sight of a lighter. Watching him walk off she had the sudden urge to follow but didn't want to be one of those creepy stalker girls who followed their prey around all night. Ordering a drink, this time she just got a bottle of whatever took her fancy. Picking it up by the neck she took a quick swig then looked over to the door leading outside. As pathetic as it was she was worried about her dearly beloved lighter. Without it she wouldn't be ale to clam herself by watching the flames eat at some object...usually it was something of her poor roommates which was the main reason of him moving out. She was enjoying the peace really until they would decided to throw someone in with her.
Along with the not trusting him with her lighter she was somewhat intrigued with his rather odd behavior. He seemed on the strange side a little.
Slipping from the stool she dropped to her feet and grabbed her bottle from the bar. Weaving her way through the dancing people was an easy task for the small girl, she just ducked under arms and wound around grinding bodies. Reaching the door she opened it and allowed it to close. Being rather heave and made of a solid wood it blocked the majority of the noise. The light night's breeze swept back her mane of colorful hair and she ran a hand through it to tidy it. Drinking from her bottle she then muttered to herself mostly but loud enough to let the boy know she had come out. "If I hear another one of the same song again...I'm gunna hurt someone." Shockingly she could be rather violent, her small stature fooled many.
Glancing at the boy she smiled lightly. "Done with my lighter?"

His lips pressed against his arm as he wiped his mouth from the saliva that had come up from his habit. When he smoked he tended to want more and more, and he began to salivate. He hated it, but shit happens. He stuck his hands into his pockets, finding another cigarette and lighting it as he threw the old one out into the parking lot. As a matter of fact, he was pretty strange and no one could understand it. Through all of his years of treatment and counseling, he didn't get any better. As he heard the door shut and close, he glanced over just to see the girl standing there. He watched her, hearing her and smirked.
He just let out a little chuckle to himself, she looked like she wouldn't... well, couldn't, hurt a fly. He nodded, taking a drag. He tossed it to her, hoping she'd catch it, otherwise he'd have to buy her a new one. Wait, what the hell? Why would he do that. He wouldn't... thats right. He just shoot his head at his own thoughts, burrying them with thoughts of what to say next. He glanced at the bottle she was carrying, then back to the ground. "Why are you here" He asked, his voice harsh and cold.

Hayley just glanced sideways at him when he laughed. She didn't really care all too much, most people laughed when she got pissed off. It was true, she hardly ever hurt anyone let alone a fly, in fact most of her aggression usually turned in wards on herself due to her bipolar and just not knowing how to release any of the depressed mood in a less harmful way to wards herself. Of course after several visits with the councilor she stopped because she was all better...or rather she just hid everything she did. She was getting rather sly and cunning at it now. Besides, it wasn't her fault she had the disorder to blame for the pent up aggression.
Reaching out she easily caught the lighter in her right hand and she slipped it this time into her back pocket. Leaning back against the wall that was next to the door she closed her eyes and smiled at the cooling breeze that returned her cheeks from the slightly warm pink back to the cool, dead ivory they were meant to be.
Not opening her eyes when he spoke to her she just smiled as a reaction. "Because you had my lighter." With a shrug she then added. "And because I'm hot." She hated clubs when they got too warm, she never minded them when she was drunk though but when she had only drunk enough to lift her mood rather a lot she hated all the drunk sweaty bodies running around. Ignoring the rude tones in his voice she decided to rise above like the grown up little girl she was and return his earlier introduction. "I'm Hayley by the way..."

He just nodded, biting his lip. He soon let go, taking in her words. Well she was somewhat like him already, matter-of-fact like and... well, who knows. Jesse shook his head, looking at the ground then back to her "aaah, I see" he said, rolling his eyes. He lent back, taking another drag and letting it all out. He usually wasn't social, but he felt unlike himself tonight. He took one more drag, smirking at the sensation running through his body.
"Nice to meet you," He said as she introduced herself, and he was sure she'd caught his name earlier. He watched her, tilting his head. He didn't exactly know what to say next, so he just stayed quiet due to lack of social skills.

Hayley was a little surprised as he spoke back after she introduced herself. She half expected just a grunt or some rude comment. In an almost lazy tone she nodded. "Likewise." She slurred a little just due to the lack of effort she placed into the word.
Opening her eyes she smiled brightly and glanced to the doors of the club. "You don't seem like you come to places like this often...no offense meant." A light smirk remained across her face as she thought not to continue and question why he was here. She didn't want to seem rude or push his social skills too far. As for Hayley and was rather charismatic, could talk to anyone and she usually did. She loved meeting new people but she liked meeting people who were a little bit different that your classic stereotype of the people she would usually hang out with. She liked a varied group of friends.
"You live around here?" She questioned due to the entire not recognizing him. She got bored of holding her drink and downed half of it before glancing at the bottle and frowned. She was sure it tasted nicer before. Holding out her arm with the bottle in it she offered him some. "Want some."

He watched her, chuckling to himself even more. He watched her drink, and hear her slur. He bit his lip harshly, shaking his head as he watched in sheer amusement. "I don't," he said coldy, watching her and shaking his head "I prefer to be in more quiet areas" he said, still cold and half heartedly. He saw her offer the bottle to him, and he glady took it. He downed the last few drinks, and threw it to the ground. It shattered, and he looked back up in satisfaction.
"I just moved here," he said smoothly, staring at her.

She could have figured just as much on her own but at least he was talking. They may not have been long rants about any of the questions she asked but it was a start really. She nodded once to show she basically got what he was saying. Hayley being a musician at heart adored loud music and gigs, she liked time alone in quiet places but as long as the music was good she was there. "I would have stayed in my dorm...but there was some giant orgy going on. I'd rather crap dance music to listening to their crap all night." She shuddered, so many times had she heard them it wasn't even funny.
"Where abouts from?" She said calmly as she watched the glass shatter. She continued to look at it for a moment s if waiting for it to move but it didn't. Glancing back up she wrapped her arms around her waist. It was getting a little cold though she liked it...the breeze just seemed to catch her and go through her on that one little strip of flesh between where her top ended and her skirt began. Pulling her top down she adjusted it to keep that area covered.

He just watched her, knowing she was probably surprised he was even talking a little bit. He just nodded, glancing back at the shattered glass then to his shoes. He looked back to her, taking another drag of his cigarette before putting it out. "Aah, ew" he said, shaking his head and smirking at the thought of having a room below people who just had to do it all night and every night. But ofcourse he was use to it, his dad had this habit of raping his mom. So he'd always heard their sounds when he was younger. He drifted off into thought of the hatred he had for his father, then he jumped as she spoke again. He blinked, looking to her then looking down. He had a sudden flashback, and he scooted away alittle "Albany" he said quietly, so that she could barely hear him. He looked down, his hair surrounding his eyes so she couldn't see the tears forming. Just thinking about his loving mother being hurt so bad brought the tears on, and there was no way he'd let her see. That'd be so not manish of him.

Hayley carefully watched him, as always she noticed details even the strangest of people wouldn't pick up on. She really didn't want to say anything. Like when you got upset and just didn't want to mention it then someone tried to comfort you. It just made matters worse from her experience. Glancing up at the sky she watched the stars as they seemed to shift about the sky, some were moving but they were just planes and those annoying flashing lights. Brushing back her hair as it swung over her eyes she gave an annoyed sigh. The breeze was in the wrong direction for her and seemed to be attempting to blow her hair into her face. Really distracting actually.
It didn't take long for her to turn her attention back to the boy. She picked up on the change in him straight away. It wasn't hard really. Knowing that like always she would probably just get the finger or a line of curses thrown at her but she was too curious not to. And it was like a natural thing to check up on people if you thought they seemed down. Or at least it was for Hayley. "You OK?" It was simple and she spoke in her usual soft, friendly tones but there was some amount of care in her voice, it wasn't usually heard much and it wasn't planned. It just happened. Strange that..
