The seventeen year old boy's eyes stared down at the black iPod as he carelessly hummed along to 'Vulnerable' by Secondhand Serenade. He sighed, leaning his head back against the tree he had sat down in front of. He took a deep breath, closing his eyes. His black hoodie said LOVE on it, and had a bird on the back. The hood was pulled up over his head, blocking anyone that wanted to come in. He yawned, opening his eyes quickly as he felt something run across his leg. It was a spider, and he flicked it off, rolling his eyes.
As people passed by and stared at him, he just shook his head. His eyelids flickered and he began to doze off. He caught himself, shaking his head and opening his eyes. He couldn't go to sleep right in the middle of the park, someone might try to hurt him.
Today he wore a pair of plaid shorts, a black t-shirt, and the black hoodie. He yawned, glancing down at his black and red DC's, a smile catching the crease of his lips but it soon faded back to his signature frown.

Blake looked down at her phone as it started buzzing again. She rarely ever had the volume up on the ringer, only because when she was at work she had to have it silent and when she got off of work she always forgot to turn it back on.
1 new message
Sighing she flipped it open and looked down at it. It was a message from her ex. She bit her lip, she should ignore it. Ever since they broke up he wouldnt leave her alone and she kept seeing him everywhere. With a sigh she shook her head, she wouldnt text him back, if she did he would never leave her alone. Flipping the phone closed she stuck it back in her pocket.
As she walked along the park, she noticed not many people were out and about right now, least not in the park. Tucking some of her long dark brown hair behind her ear her hazel eyes fell on a lone boy. She tilted her head a bit studying him from where she was. He wasnt moving and she wondered if he was asleep. He had his hood pulled over his head, so she couldnt really see his face all that well to know.
Walking up to him she stopped her hands in the pockets of her black sweater. "hi...'She said. It was probably weird just having a stranger come up to you and start talking to you, especially when you hadnt even looked at them to urge their coming over. But Blake was an odd one and too nice for her own good.

He just sighed, dozing off and on until the song switched to Hero by nickleback. He just took a deep breath, taking out a cigarette and lighting it. He took a drag, and exhaled happily. He closed his eys for a few more seconds, shivering. It was pretty cold outside, and he was feeling it. He finished his cigarette, throwing it out t-words the sidewalk.
He hadn't noticed the girl walking up to him until she said something. He looked up, just staring at her. He wasn't friendly at all, and he definatly hated people. "Uh, hey" he said in a hoarse tone, then glanced back down. He rolled his eyes, sighing. He wondered what she wanted, he just shivered again, glancing to her feet, then back to his lap.

Blake wasnt dissuaded by his lack of enthusiasm in someone talking to him. Instead she took a seat where she was, facing him. "Im Blake"She held her hand out to him. He probably wouldnt introduce himself... or even shake her hand, but hey she could try.
She didnt know the boy but she was sure shes seen him around school, not necessarily in classes but in the halls and such. She didnt really know what group he ran with, hell she didnt know what group most people ran with. This was kind of new to her, this catagorizing. Where she had been from, sure they had cliques but here it seemed like it was important, that none of them talked to other people from different cliques... maybe thats why this guy wasnt talking to her. Oh well... it was worth a try.

He just looked up, giving her a weird look and then looked at her hand. He rolled his eyes behind his hair, looking back down and ignoring the hand she held out. "I'm Jesse" he said in a painfully quiet voice. He just glanced to his iPod, then to the grass he sat on. It wasn't that they weren't from the same 'clique' or whatever, he just never talked to anyone. If he did it was himself, and he wasn't friendly so why should he force himself to talk.
He just took a deep breath, banging his head back against the tree. There was nothing to do, and this girl was weird. He'd never been around someone friendly like she seemed to be. He just blinked, glancing over to her then back to the grass.
