general appearence:
This boy is rather a mixture of races in appearence. His mother having been American and his father Japanese, Robynne holds an appearence that he rather wishes he didn't. Unlike his elder brother. His hair is naturally deep brown with unnatural tawny streaks running through it because he thinks it looks cool. It's texture is baby soft and the length of it is down to the nape of his neck, unless he's fixed it up a certain way or has had it cut, which is a rare occurrence for him.
Beautiful, soft, dark brown, almost black, eyes blend with it very well and compliment his delicate, pretty boy features which so contrast his older brother's masculine looks. Sometimes he does wear make-up to make his eye color stand out a bit more, but again this is rare because of his dislike of the shape of his eyes. He's at ends with his height and how feminine he looks and more than makes up for it in the temper and fighting spirit, which his dear brother severely lacks.
Aside from his eyes looking almost gold, they hold another feature to them which he severely hates. They are much wider than most Japanese and have gotten him such nicknames as chihuahua boy and bug-eyed kid. Those all disappeared once he hit Middle School, but he knows from how some Japanese people look at him that those are what they are still thinking and it pisses him off to no end. Though, even as some people, girls mostly, gave him compliments on them, he still hates their shape all the same. He loves the color, but hates the shape. He doesn't mind it so much now that he's in England though because he can't be made fun of for them.
His body frame is rather thin and slightly on the short side, but do not even think of that as weakness or delicacy. He most certainly is neither and the numerous kids he's sent to the hospital over the years conveys this. He works out a lot, but, like his brother, his muscles do not show on his body and are hidden behind a very thin frame. Not a sickly thin, but a regular decent thin. He likes being thin because it tricks the people who pick fights with him into thinking they will win just because their bigger. They learn quick enough though that things are not always what they seem.
His skin tone is only slightly tan due to him preferring to be inside on his laptop or playing his guitar, but when he's working out or playing soccer, he gets out enough to get a pretty good tan. It's an all-around tan too because he's been forced to go swimming a lot by Hayven, his brother, and thus had to wear swimming trunks, as well as the fact he only works out in shorts. Never a T-shirt. He hates clothes sticking to his body when he sweats so T-shirts are out of the picture when doing stuff such as that.

general personality:
Robynne's personality is something very complex to describe. On one hand he's extremely kind and liking to help people, but on the other he's very quick-tempered and constantly in fights. One might call this bi-polar disorder, but if your that one, don't say it to his face. You'll be receiving the other hand if you do. You can ask Hayven. Anyway, the main components of his personality are that he's not shy at all. Quite the opposite, he's blunt to a fault. He's not someone who sugar-coats things, so if your wanting an honest opinion on something just ask him. You can be assured you won't get a padded answer. You'll get the bare facts.
As mentioned, he has a fiery temper and one that is hard to control. He's very prone to fighting and has gotten into at least five fights a school year since the third grade, when he was old enough to comprehend the insults he was dealt and the names he was called. Hayven tried telling him to ignore them, but since they were in separate grades, he couldn't be there to calm him down all the time. Having been made fun of since he was old enough to attend school by himself took a toll on him and gave him the quick temper he has today. Much the contrast of your typical person that had been made fun of, which would cower. The teasing had a very opposite effect on him and one that's gotten him into a considerable amount of trouble over the years.
Aside from his temper, Robynne really can be a sweet boy. When put in the right environment, that is. Have him spend the day with someone who won't make fun of his eyes and just wants to hang out and be friends, and you won't get a single bad-tempered word out of him. Put him in a bad environment, one with someone liking confrontation hanging with him, either him or the other kid will have to be sent to the hospital before an hour has commenced. This just goes to show how even-tempered he would have been throughout life if he hadn't been made fun of all those years in school.
Something that's not usually seen, even by his brother, is a scared persona that is buried deep within Robynne's body. He is very scared of losing those he loves, even if he may fight with them as he does with Hayven. Much the contrast to what he might say in the heat of his temper, he does not want to lose them. He remembers what it's like to have one taken away, even though he was a very young age, and he just doesn't want to go through that again. He's very protective over the ones he cares about and will hurt anyone who tries to harm them.
history.
hometown: Okinawa, Japan
general history:
Robynne was the second born to a family of three. His birth had been planned and the couple had been ecstatic when it was found out that they were to have another boy. Sure, they wanted a girl, but a boy was just as welcome. Plus, they thought the child would be someone for their first-born son to play with. Little did they know how opposite the two boys would end up being. In both looks and in attitude.
The eldest, Hayven, was calm and even-tempered and had darker hair, yet lighter eyes than Robynne who was very rambunctious and had lighter hair and much darker eyes. The two almost never played together unless forced. They never wanted to be around each other and would fight over toys and stuff whenever they would. It was very odd to see two brothers so close in age yet so far apart in the attitude and appearence. While their looks would never change to make them look alike, nor would their personalities ever match, one incident did indeed bring the two boys very much closer. An incident that changed their lives.
They were both sitting in the backseat of their father's car, eagerly awaiting his getting off from work as always. They were only ages three and four so therefore they were easily excited when dropped off by their mother to sit and wait for their father. Though what transpired that day was not something that either excited about. They both witnessed the killing of their father just as he was about to open the door and get in. It was a brutal killing, one the two boys have never forgotten, even though they didn't know what exactly was going on at the time. Well, Hayven did, but little Robynne did not.
After the events that happened that day, both boys learned to depend on each other despite their differences in personality. Though as they both started to grow up and enter school, Robynne got made fun of a lot. Mostly for his non-Japanese eye shape and his small stature. He grew up much slower than most boys did, especially his elder brother. This caused him to go through hell in Middle School which caused his temper to shorten. Everyday the fuse would get shorter and shorter, until it got to the point where he would get into a fight over someone saying something he didn't like. He had to go to anger management for this and thus managed to be able to control his short fuse just a bit better, though not too much. At least he didn't fly off the handle at every little thing like he had.
After Middle School his mother forced him to go to Shinomori Boys Academy just as she had forced Hayven to go just a year prior. His Freshman year was filled with a lot of drama. He found out his sexuality was not completely straight, his temper had shortened when he had been taunted by relatives of those that killed his and Hayven's father, and he had sent three boys to the hospital which he almost got put in juvenile hall for. It was evident that him and high school were not compatible, but what could his mother do? His father had always wanted him to go through school, so she would never allow him to drop out. He'd already been to anger management. The only thing they could really do was try one more year. And that's what they did. But in a different environment.
Seeing as Robynne is half American, it's only natural that he learned more than one language while growing up in Japan. With the help of this, though he's not entirely fluent in English, his mother decided to send him to a school in America as a foreign exchange student just to see how he would do. The first school they got a response from was an average school with nothing too special about it and so they tried it. Little did they know, and do they know, this is where Robynne got his first glance at being the one who lost a fight and ended up being brutally injured.
Everything had gone smoothly for him the first couple of weeks at school, despite his dislike of being separated from his elder brother, but then there was a misunderstanding between him and the older son of the family he was staying with. The rest of the family was out and about, leaving the two home alone and believing they would be alright there. At first they were, but then the misunderstanding came about and the son pretty much beat the living crap out of Robynne. Even as he tried to fight back and reason with him at the same time. The guy let up after a bit of time, by the time Robynne was actually pleading with him to stop, and proceeded to just head back to his room.
Robynne was not exactly traumatized by this incident, but it managed to calm him quite a bit and lengthen his temper fuse. He hid the bruises underneath clothing and dressed the few lacerations on his own, making sure not to show that he was in pain to anyone. Still, he felt as though he didn't want to risk another misunderstanding and thus called his older brother. He told Hayven he wanted to be transferred to another family and another school. Hayven thought he'd done something originally, but as Robynne explained the situation to him, making sure he didn't tell their mother about it, he managed to get Hayven to convince their mother to switch his schools.
They looked again for another school wanting a foreign exchange student and since they could afford quite a lot, they even looked to England and other European schools. They'd heard of how great East Valley High was in London, England, so as soon as they got an acception letter from them, they enrolled Robynne there and sent him off to live in the third country he's come to live in. Not that he really minds it too much, even though it's take some getting used to on his part. Robynne's just starting off here now and hopes he won't screw everything up as he's done in the past.
