Drama. For one thing, Dean Neuman's Academy is full of it. You've got your preps, nerds, scenes, jocks, and over on the other side, the cheerleaders. The cheersquad will give anyone a "fair" tryout, but if you're not pretty, skinny, or popular, you have a thin to none chance of ever getting your spot on the squad. Except for one person.
Jaqueline Addams belongs to the clique you wouldn't expect to be a cheerleader-related group. But the fact is, a lot of the female cheerleaders are attracted to the scene boyds, and likewise. The only boy who doesn't appear to have an admiration for any of the cheerleaders is Cody Kowalewicz. He likes to keep to himself, and in reality, has a secret crush on Jac.
Cody belongs to the popular rock band "Stuff It" as the lead vocalist. He is quite good at singing, and also plays guitar but not in the band. When he's on stage, he lets all loose, but in the school, he's calm and quiet, like every other kid.
But that would be a false statement.
The city, named Alameda, announced it was going to have a Battle of the Bands. This caused excitement in nearly every group of teens, and a tension between bands. Bands accused other bands of stealing their lyrics, and a few bands even broke up and pulled out of the contest from the strain.
But that's not the only thing that is causing stress. Alameda is swarming with rumours about the gangsters working for the second-best band, "Eldorado". Rumour has it that Eldorado is paying the gangsters in nearly everything just to get Stuff It out of the Battle.
Cody, Cole, Andrew, and Evan aren't worried about any rumours. To them, this competition is nothing. Although the thousand dollar cash prize would be nice. Little do they know, the gangs are up to something, and they're saving the worst for Cody, who they see as their main threat.
Choose your side, and fight for what you think is right, but not neccisarily what is the best.
Enter.
