Hayley smiled and nodded. "I promise...even If I knew who this Timothy dude was I wouldn't mention a thing." Even if she did know the guy she had no intention of getting anyone into trouble. She was decent like that, in fact many of her friends parents didn't like her as she had a nack for taking the wrap for things. If a friend went home drunk, it would be Hayley's fault for taking her out and providing a bad influence. In truth Hayley was often dragged out by other people yet she was still liable for them.
"Who is Timothy anyways?" She questioned. Her first guess would be something like step-dad, uncle or even brother. But of course first guesses could obviously be wrong. Bluntly wrong.
She raised a brow. It sounded a little dramatic like the bratty kids that lost something and then went on about how their parents would kill them if they found out. Or when they got pregnant. Now that just amused Hayley at how stupid they could be. Her attention returned to Damon as she glanced over him. He didn't look like that type at all though.

"Timothy is," my lover? Ew not really... my dad? No I just called him Timothy, he thought to himself anxiously. He didn't know of Step dad's or anything like that. He thought back, what had he said to Jesse he couldn't remember. "He's one of the men I live with," he figured that be suitable enough.
He swallowed he could almost hear Timothy's voice, you went to a party baby? He shivered, he'd probably break both of his ankles and let them mend on their own. He'd probably do other things as well but Damon didn't want to dwell on them.
He wondered vaguely if she had parents. What were they like? Were they nice? Accepting? He admired her style a lot and figured they let her dye her hair. Unless they didn't and she just did it anyway. He smiled to himself that would be awesome, he wished he could do that but he would never even dare.

Hayley watched him carefully, his answer was a little vague but she wasn't going to argue. She didn't like it when people tried to drag information out of her so in all politeness she never did it to other. Treat people how you wished to be treated and all that. It seemed to work well in her case. She was a pretty friendly person even to those who were plain rude to her.
Taking note of his silence she couldn't think of much else to say. She was intrigued to know more but she didn't want to dig into the boy's private life. What he wanted to share he would tell her. Right?
"That's cool." She said in a light tone and offered a slight smile. "Is this the first time you're living away from home?" She attempted to change the subject somewhat. The cold bit into her and she wrapped her slender arms around her fragile frame. Windy days were the ones that made her wish she was morbidly obese just to be warm...that or have brought out a decent jacket.

Damon looked at her shivering, "maybe we should walk and talk maybe it will make us warmer," he smiled sweetly. "And if you want to we could go somewhere warmer," he offered gently.
As he began to walk the question made him think for a moment, "well it is my first time in school and out of the house," his blue eyes were filled to the brim with excitement. "I love it so far," he spoke looking around in pure amazement.
"I love the outside, it's beautiful," he let the breeze gently play across his face, "it's so much better then looking out a window." He laughed lightly, everything he spoke had been the truth he honestly thought everything out here was wonderful. The only other time he had been outside was when he would try to run away. "What about you is this your first time?"

Hayley smiled as they began to walk and at the mention of a warmer place she shook her head. "Nah, it's ok. I just don't think I'm made for the cold." She laughed. "My own fault though for not grabbing my jumper, I think I left it in the music room at some point today." She shrugged. The girl had a terrible habit of loosing things. Her memory seemed to switch off on important things and remember the slightest, most stupid facts during her day.
She could easily see how exiting this was all for him, she smiled warmly to his reaction and looked around herself.
To his comment she seemed to scrunch up her face. "Not in the winter it isn't, I love sitting indoors nice and warm while watching everyone outside getting drenched from rain." She gave a slightly devious giggle, sure it was mean to enjoy watching it but it made her feel all the more warm. "Yes and no." She said with a light frown. "I was hardly ever at home when I was living there, spent most nights sleeping down friends houses...thrown out and stormed out alot." She shrugged.

The tiny boy nodded at the mention of the cold. "I like it in the winter though," he confessed, "although once, when I was running away it was freezing and I was half naked! That was bad, I will never forget how freezing I was, I actually went back on my own within a few minutes. I got punished but at least it was warm right?"
His eyes which were normally filled with curiosity turned sad, "they kicked you out? Why?" Timothy would never let him leave just for a moment he couldn't picture anyone kicking her out. "Don't they love you?" he asked in a worried tone, it sounded so naive. Timothy said he loved him more then anything in the world and he was never allowed outside so her parents must have hated her.
He felt bad for her although being loved wasn't the greatest thing in the world, at least in his own mind.

Hayley frowned as he spoke of running away half naked then having to go back and be punished. It wasn't your average choice of words but she figured that if he seemed comfortable to say that maybe he would let her in with more detail in the future. Again she didn't want to dig and only asked a simple question. "Why did you run away?"
The girl shrugged lightly to his question. "Yeah, I don't know, any little reason they could find really. My Dad and his girlfriend liked to have alone time together and I just annoyed the crap out of them...with me being there and all." She rolled her eyes and laughed slightly at his question. "I never thought to ask." Not once had any of her family told her they loved her. Not even her brother who cared for her. That was the main reason for her being so friendly, she craved affection from her friends mostly.

If the girl had too little love then the boy had far too much, no one at the age of six should have more sexual experience then most high schoolers. He thought again, remaining silent until he could think of something mildly appropriate to say, "I ran away because they were bad sometimes," he stammered he had just said we, "I don't know they- I just couldn't take it you know?" he figured that would be safe enough, he had a hard time not telling people. Timothy had told hi it was normal and fine his whole life so why couldn't he tell them? It confused him greatly, ohh well if she asked he would probably tell. Though she'd have to promise that she wouldn't tell anyone like Jesse had for the boy would grow anxious that Timothy would find out.
"You shouldn't have to ask," he breathed, tilting his head to the side. "They're supposed to tell you and then you say 'I love you too'." He spoke as if he was a child explaining something to another child. He smiled, "at least thats what i think is supposed to happen, thats what they did with me. You have to say it back even if you don't mean it," he laughed gently.

She decided not to argue with what he said. With a light nod Hayley answered his questions. "Yeah I guess." She had never run away because her parents were 'bad' and she wouldn't really call it running away because she had every intention of going home. Several years ago they all booked a holiday for a week but didn't even think to invite their young daughter. Instead Hayley stayed home and to keep her entertained had a house party with totally trashed the house. Her parents came back to a wrecked house and no Hayley. It took her almost a month to walk back through the door. She would also run out during her depressive moods. Her family didn't seem to understand what her bipolar did to her. She couldn't control her moods yet they still blamed her for it.
Hayley stared hard at the floor. She hated talking in detail about her family. She just liked to keep it quiet. Everyone always went home for Christmas where they would spend the Holiday as a nice happy family but part of the deal Hayley had with her family was that she couldn't come home for holidays. She smiled lightly although still looking harshly on the floor. "No not really. That would be a lie. If you don't love someone you don't tell them you do. That's is I guess why nobody ever really said it." She shrugged and laughed slightly trying to brighten her own mood.

The thin boy realized that he may have been dampening her mood. "I'm sorry, everyone should be loved," He spoke in a child like innocence. He quickly changed the subject she seemed like she didn't want to talk about her family. He also realized that she thought he had parents... even though he let it slip before that he lived with men. That didn't matter she thought he did have parents and he decided to keep it like that. He couldn't picture Timothy being his father let alone any of the others being a parental figure. he almost burst out laughing at the thought of Rex being the mother. He was able to contain himself though, it would also be a sickening image.
"Where do you want to go?" he asked gently, referring to the 'warmer place' he had mentioned before. He didn't know where anything was around here but he would be happy to find out. He loved going to new places. He placed a slender hand over his mouth and coughed, he must have been getting sick. He had recently learned that you could actually get diseases from having sex. Damon had freaked out, screaming at Timothy wondering why no one told him.

Hayley closed her eyes for a moment as a bitter breeze drifted past. Those shockingly cold breezes always made her eyes water than she would look like she had been crying for hours. It was annoying when several people a day would worry about how you were and it was all because of that damn wind. Hayley just smiled lightly at his comment. She saw nowhere to take it but she had managed long enough without being loved, especially by her family. She had been through many relationships because of her need for affection but she had that friendly love to. She loved her friends, especially those that were stupidly close to her. Sure they may still have not known everything about her but it was nice to have them there.
To his comment of a warmer place she took a moment to consider. The clubs were usually warm but she wasn't dressed to go out and she really didn't think it would be a smart idea to drag such a naive sounding boy into a club. Maybe after a few parties he would be ready. She frowned in thinking. "We could always go to the mall, there's usually some warm places there...or the dorms are pretty close we could hang out in mine...if I can get in." She smiled lightly giving him a choice. Knowing her luck her dorm would be a mess if chosen.

"What do you mean if you can get in?" he smiled sweetly. His eyes were a light with a gentle happiness, it had been so long since he had smiled a genuine smile. He tucked some hair behind his ear, "wherever you'd like to go." He thought for a moment, he had heard of a mall but had never been to one. Timothy bought him all of his clothing.
"I've never been to a mall," he spoke, "is there a lot to do there?" He looked at her, wondering what there could possibly be there to do. Wasn't it all clothing stores? Maybe he could buy some new clothing. The thought excited him visibly, his face lit up. He tucked his hands into his pants pockets. Damon, when he was with Timothy, would tell him what sort of clothing he liked and Timothy would go and pick everything out. Of course he got him eyeliner because he liked the way it looked but then again so did Damon.
He looked back to her, if she did want to go to her dorms he thought that he'd like that too. As long as it was warm, he was cold a lot. Rex says it's from malnutrition but Damon yelled at him, telling him it was wrong. He didn't even know what that word was and he didn't like the sound of it.

She laughed gently and shrugged a little. "Just my floor is constantly covered in crap, well mostly work to be honest but it's all pretty much just the rubbish I toss aside. Oh and clothes. I have a habit of not being neat." She rolled her eyes, it wasn't her fault. Her untidiness was all her Father's fault. He was a bit of a clean freak so Hayley would use it as the perfect excuse to leave her room back home in a mess. He would go mental and she would feel rather satisfied.
"Never been?" She said with a raised brow but soon forgot about the question, she didn't plan on dwelling on it for long. "Of course there is. You shop and after you shop you go get some coffee and shop some more...there are other things to do than shop. Even if you just wander about you're bound to see someone you know." She shrugged lightly and glanced around. The weather seemed to be getting worse by the second. The winds got colder and it was just annoying.
"The mall it is then." Hayley said in a bright tone.
((sorry for the delay in reply))
